Where to Stay
San José de Gracia is small enough that you don't have many big-hotel options — and that's part of the appeal. A handful of small inns and well-run Airbnbs make the centro easy to walk from.
Airbnb in the centro
The Moctezuma 153 apartment is the most-booked option for visitors — bright 2BR, 2BA on a quiet street two blocks from the plaza, with new appliances, A/C, and keyless entry. ★5.0 with Superhost status. Sleeps up to 5; works equally well for a couple weekend or a family trip.
Other lodging in town
Small inns and posadas come and go — for the latest list with hours, addresses, and ratings, see the business directory filtered to lodging.
Extended trip? A beach option
If you're already coming this far and want to add a few days at the coast, the Casa de Playa MG in Rosarito is run by the same family — laid-back Pacific vibes, ocean views, just south of the US border. About 12 hours by car from San José de Gracia or a short flight from GDL to TIJ.
Booking tips
Book a few weeks ahead during the Fiesta Patronal (first 10 days of May), Semana Santa, and the December holidays — those weekends fill up. Outside those windows you can usually find space on shorter notice. WiFi is solid in the centro; data coverage is good throughout town.
