The street works the council signed

The Consejo Consultivo of San José de Gracia and the Tepatitlán de Morelos government signed an agreement to carry out works in town. This is what their brochure lists, street by street.

According to the brochure, the agreement covers seven works:

  • Cobblestone paving on calle Tabachín.
  • Cobblestone paving on calle Eucalipto.
  • Rehabilitation of avenida La Paz.
  • Cobblestone paving on avenida Arandas.
  • Rehabilitation of calle Pedro Moreno: roadway, water lines and drainage.
  • Asphalt on Mariano Matamoros, Petro Murillo, 5 de Mayo and Hidalgo.
  • A roundabout at the entrance to San José de Gracia.

Works by co-participation

Beyond those seven, the Tepatitlán government commits to take part in and fund co-participation projects, the ones led by the neighbors who want them. The brochure lists four:

  • Rehabilitation of calle Moctezuma.
  • Rehabilitation of calle Zaragoza.
  • Rehabilitation of calle Hidalgo.
  • Asphalt on calle Francisco Medina Ascencio.

If you live on one of those streets and want to take part, ask at the Delegación.

Who sits on the council

The brochure names the members of the Delegación council of San José de Gracia: the citizens Eriberto Márquez Hernández, Adrián González Arámbula, Miguel Ángel Escoto Muñoz, Teresita Elizabeth Hernández Valle and Keira Mari Angulo Contreras, and the municipal delegate, Julio González Flores.

What the brochure doesn't say

It is undated; it has been going around town since roughly August or September 2026. It also gives no dates, costs or order for the works. When the Delegación announces dates, we will post them in What's happening.

To ask or report a problem

Ask at the Delegación, or use the municipality's report form (e-Tepa) for potholes and street problems. The phone numbers are in Resources. The council posts its notices on its Facebook page, Consejo para la Participación Ciudadana Tepatitlán, the one named in the brochure.
